Postage and Packaging

We deliver to England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. We do not deliver to the Channel Islands for import duty reasons, nor do we deliver to British Forces Post Office addresses. Furthermore, orders with a delivery address in an especially rural location may very rarely be cancelled and refunded due to excessive shipping costs.

Northern Ireland

If you are ordering from Northern Ireland there are a couple of things you need to be aware of. It is more expensive for us to deliver to you. We pass on a surcharge from Parcelforce on all deliveries to you. This is unavoidable.

Order Fulfilment

Most orders are dispatched in 1-4 business days. Some orders may take longer to dispatch for the following reasons:

• We are out of stock, and have made arrangements for a delivery from a supplier.
• We are awaiting delivery of packaging supplies.
• We are physically unable to fulfil the order quickly (ie. out of office for business purposes).

Please wait up to 4 business days for a dispatched/fulfilled confirmation email before getting in touch regarding this for the above reasons. 

Parcelforce Express 48

Delivered 48 hours after the time of collection by Parcelforce. This is a fully tracked service so you can keep up to date with its progress as it heads your way.

Parcelforce Express 24

Delivered 24 hours after the time of collection by Parcelforce. This is a fully tracked service so you can keep up to date with its progress as it heads your way.

Delivery by Robertson Wines

If our system detects you are local to us. It will automatically present this option to you at checkout. Customers within 20 miles of us benefit from free delivery. Customers between 20 and 30 miles away also get this option, but a small £4.95 fuel surcharge applies.

Packaging

All our orders are packed with individual bubble bags for each bottle, encased in a strong inner box by bottle head holders. With the inner box then placed into an outer box for double layered protection. The box is then noted to contain glass to ensure handlers are extra careful with it.

Age Verification (18+)

Adult age verification is required at delivery for every order. This is a second step to ensure who ordered the wine is over 18 for legal reasons due to the liquid being alcoholic.

Consignment Cancellation

We reserve the right to restrict deliveries or terminate an active contract between you and our company in the event of numerous failed delivery attempts or delivery rejection by Parcelforce for legal purposes (ie. underage recipient).
